Brightstar Resources Limited (ASX:BTR) is a Western Australian gold consolidator that owns and operates three project hubs — Sandstone, Laverton and Menzies — totalling over 4 million ounces of gold Mineral Resources. It is transitioning from explorer to multi-mine producer, currently mining ore from underground mines at Second Fortune and Fish (processed via an ore purchase agreement with Genesis Minerals at Laverton), while advancing its flagship Sandstone Gold Project toward a Pre-Feasibility Study and a standalone processing plant. The company was formerly known as A1 Minerals then Stone Resources Australia (ASX:SHK) before rebranding to Brightstar Resources in December 2020, and grew via a string of 2023-2024 mergers/acquisitions (Alto Metals, Aurumin, Linden Gold Alliance, Gateway Mining's Montague tenements).
